The roots of the BEATRIZ BALL Collection can be traced back to 1991, when Beatriz Ball began collaborating with skilled metalware artisans. Together, they created updated and innovative designs using a special lustrous alloy of many metals.

The creation of BEATRIZ BALL products is an entirely handmade process, with each piece being made one at a time using the ancient art of sand casting. The process involves pouring a premium quality alloy of molten aluminum into sand molds and then going through four levels of meticulous polishing.

More than twelve different sets of hands are involved in the creation of each BEATRIZ BALL piece, resulting in a product with a depth of character, warmth, and personality that can only be achieved through a truly handmade process.
